Bereavement, Grief and Loss
Coping with the waves of emotion that follow the death of a loved one can be among the most overwhelming things we ever face. Paradoxically, loss (particularly sudden or traumatic losses) can result in a type of numbness and an accompanying sense of shame that we aren't grieving enough or in the right way.
Bereavement counselling with me is designed to offer a calm and compassionate place to talk about your loss and get support to understand the stages and shape of your grief.
Often death can act as a catalyst - bringing many things about our life into focus all at once. Knowing you have a regular space to explore how your loss has impacted you can help relieve an unecessary build up of emotional pressure.
If you or a loved one have exprienced a loss, please feel free to get in touch to find out more about how grief counselling with me might support you.
